Before downloading the renewed certificate, carefully read the instructions below.

Click on Download button above
Insert the smart card into reader or USB key in the computer.
Run the ObnovaRS.exe program after the download is complete
The ‘Obnova sertfikata’ window will apper. Verify that the data of the certificate you intend to renew has been read correctly.
To proceed with the enrolment, click Start.
NOTICE: The renewed digital certificate has a validity period of 3 years, starting from the moment of renewal and not when the old certificate expires.
The renewal is not recommended earlier than a week before the old certificate expires.
The digital certificate renewal process take a few minutes to complete. Do not close the program or remove the smart card form the reader during this process.
Confirm the displayed notification by clicking OK.
Enter your PIN code and confirm it by clicking Sign.
After you have downloaded the renewed qualified digital certificate, a notification will appear.
Confirm by clicking Zatvori.
The renewal process is completed. In the “Obnova sertifikata” you will have the old and renewed digital certificate data.
Confirm by clicking Zatvori.
You can check your renewed digital certificate details in Nexus Personal.
Go to Token > Refresh
Double click on Electronic ID.
The renewed certificate is marked with the number 2.
