To create an e-identity and a qualified digital certificate in the cloud, at first user have to be properly identified. In accordance with Regulation (EU) no. 910/2014 of the European Parliament and Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93 / EC (the so-called eIDAS Regulation), the provider of qualified trust services can verity the user’s identity through a third party in accordance with national law:
• by physical presence of a natural person or an authorized representative of legal person, or
• remotely, using electronic identification, in respect of which physical presence of a natural person or an authorized representative of a legal person was ensured before the issuance of a qualified digital certificate,
• by a certificate of a qualified digital signature or a qualified electronic stamp, or
• through other ways of identification that are recognized at national level and provide equivalent security as physical presence.

To obtain a digital certificate, it is necessary to submit an application and an order form. Both documents are available on our website (www.onesign.si), on the Vep.si portal or at the headquarters of the trust service provider Halcom CA, Dunajska cesta 123, SI-Ljubljana (in the future also at other registration services).
After submitting your and paying the invoice for the digital certificate, you will receive two codes from Halcom CA: the activation code and the registration code. One code will be sent to your e-mail address, and the other code will be sent via another secure channel (or to the Vep.si mailbox).
