INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Certificate unblocking - Procedure for unlocking a PIN code

If your card is blocked, when incorrect PIN entered three times, the program will request the PUK code (you received it with the PIN code in the envelope or on your email).

If you cannot find the PUK code, the qualified certificate can be unblocked at the Halcom office (Beogradska 39, Belgrade). You can deliver the certificate by mail or in person – only certificate owner.

Nonqualified certificate cannot be unblocked without PUK code and if you cannot find it, you need to order a reissue of the certificate.

In order to determine if your certificate is qualified or nonqualified, follow instructions on this page.

Certificate renewal - Online renewal and reissuing

Halcom certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issue (date written on the front side of the smart card or white card provided with the USB key). Renewal/reissuing of the certificate can only be done for the same legal entity and same authorised person.

ONLINE RENEWAL – BEFORE THE CERTIFICATE EXPIRATION

At the time of certificate renewal, it is necessary that the existing smart card/USB key is connected to the computer so that webpage can retrieve the necessary data. Fill out the request for online certificate renewal.

With online renewal, you will get a new certificate that will be valid for the next three years, but you will use it with your existing smart card or USB key. On one smart card/USB key, online renewal is possible only once (after the expiration of the online renewed certificate, reissuing is only possibility)

When the certificate creation process is completed, a link to download the new certificate will be sent to your email. The renewed digital certificate has a validity period of 3 years, starting from the moment of renewal and not when the old certificate expires.

REISSUING – AFTER THE CERTIFICATE EXPIRATION

The request for certificate renewal can be submitted even after the expiration of validity, only by filling out the form and following the instructions.

When the process of the certificate issuance is complete, you will receive a new smart card/USB key. The validity of the reissued certificate starts from the moment of issuance, not from the expiration of the previous one.
